  FAQ: Fiber and Weight Management
  1. How does Total fiber™ helps with weight management?
    Total Fiber™ is formulated to contain a combination of insoluble and soluble fibre which resembles our normal food. With 10g of fibre per sachet, it helps to fill you up and keep you feeling fuller for longer but without the calories. (A slice of wholemeal bread contains 1.7g of fibre)
  2. Can I just take any fiber product to help with weight management?
    Many fiber products in the market contains soluble fiber that can cause gas, bloating and flatulence and they do not provide enough fiber to fill you up. Most products contain only 3g of fiber per sachet on average. Some fiber products are actually meant for constipation (known as fiber laxative). Hence it is not suitable to be used as part of a weight management programme. Total Fiber™ at 10g of fibre per sachet would not cause gas and bloating side effect because it is formulated to resemble the food that we take normally with a combination of insoluble and soluble fiber. And unlike fiber laxative, Total Fiber™ is made with natural fiber that can be taken daily which makes it suitable as part of a weight management programme.
  3. If I were to take Total Fiber™ for weight management, how should I be taking it? 
  4. You can take one sachet of Total Fiber™ half an hour before the biggest meal of the day (preferably breakfast or lunch), this will help to fill you up and reduce food consumption. You can also use it to replace one meal of the day.
