Slim Down with Ease

  1. What is anal fissure?
Anal fissure is a small tear in the lining of the canal and is normally caused by passing hard or large stools during a bowel movement. Symptoms include bleeding after bowel movement and sharp pain during a bowel movement. Anal fissure is often confused with other anal conditions such as haemorrhoids.
  2. How can TOTAL FIBER™ help with treatment of anal fissure?
Increased fiber intake is normally recommended as non- surgical treatment for anal fissure. Fiber intake from fruit and vegetable will ensure soft stool but not from Fiber fomulations which normally result in hard or loose stool. TOTAL FIBER™ contains 10g of fiber per sachet specially formulated to resemble fiber in Vegetable or fruits.
  3. How can I prevent the recurrence of anal fissure?
Once you’ve experienced an anal fissure, you are prone to having another one. Study has shown that maintenance therapy with adequate fiber intake is associated with lower rates of fissure recurrence. Total Fiber™ with 10g of fiber in one sachet can easily help you obtain sufficient fiber everyday and prevent straining during bowel movement.
